Moved two sports books to a new profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... and https://www.goodreads.com/author/list...When the author that needs to be changed/disambiguated is a secondary author, the author has to be changed from the book edit page (on all editions) and don't forget to hit "save" at the right of the author field first, not just save on the bottom of the page, as that won't save changes to secondary authors.
Ah, so that's what I did, or rather, didn't do. I didn't Save the author field first. Thank you!(The author of the India books will be delighted).
Stay safe and well, Lisa

https://www.goodreads.com/book/edit/9... , by adding a space between the author's first and last names (because the Lou Cameron who wrote this book is clearly not the Lou Cameron who wrote The First Blood). However, I was unable to find a "save" at the right of the author field (nor at the left side either, so confusion on that point isn't the source of the problem!).
That's because that book only has one author. There are no secondary authors.

Please link to book/show pages, not book/edit pages
rivka, thanks for the clarification! My apologies for posting the wrong link; I'd meant to link to the book/show page, not the edit page, but evidently didn't proofread the post before I sent it. :-( This link should be the right one: First Blood.
If you are only editing a primary author, you can just hit enter when you are done typing and the data will save. This is true of any plain text field other than additional authors and the book description.
