Aeron Dusk | 10 comments Hey guys, I'd really love a recommendation for a gay fantasy where the main character falls in love with a big, brooding tough guy. Sort of like an enemies to lovers trope with a slow burn. The overarching plot must be something other than romance, but the romance must play a major role in the story. (like they fall in love while saving the day/heroes journey/etc...)

If any of you know of a book like this, I would absolutely love it.

Lorne Ryburn | 2 comments This one is scifi (not fantasy) but I can't recommend it more highly:

It's a translated novel that is complete and took me around 12 hours to read. The translation is fine so no issues there. It's a time paradox thriller with slow burn enemies to lovers with highly competent MC and ML. The ending was phenomenal, one of the most satisfying endings I've ever read.

Magnus Iskander Reim (magnusiskanderreim) | 32 comments The Soulbound series by Hailey Turner is fantastic. Great worlsbuilding, plenty of action. The two main characters are a war mage working for a government institution investigating magical crimes and a local english werewolf. It's set in the near future and has sci-fi elements.
The two main characters are equally badass.

Ah, and did I mention the covers look really good, too ? A Ferry of Bones & Gold (Soulbound, #1) by Hailey Turner

A mage AND a werewolf??? You have convinced me!

Okay, ADDING.

Magnus Iskander Reim (magnusiskanderreim) | 32 comments The magic system is also pretty cool. If using your own BONES as a magic recipient were cool.
