This: A book by a winner or a nominee of the Goodreads Choice Awards in the last 5 years.
or
That: A back-list book (anything published in 2021 or before 2021)

For this challenge I chose This: A book by a winner or a nominee of the Goodreads Choice Awards in the last 5 years. I read The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur which won the GoodReads Choice Award for Poetry in 2017. I enjoyed it. The author had what I suppose can be described as a non-traditional style of poetry, but I thought it worked. Passion and feelings were heartfelt, and were able to create some powerful moments. 4 stars.

Amy (amybtate) | 16 comments I chose "that" and read "A Great Reckoning" by Louise Penny from 2016. Her Armand Gamache series is one of my favorites, but instead of binge reading them all, I have been spacing them out a couple a year to make the series last longer for me.

I chose "that" and I read Into the Crooked Place (Into the Crooked Place, #1) by Alexandra Christo

It was very good, a little slow. It took me a bit to get through.
