Laura says she is interested in history and historical fiction. She says the book is great because the author is the main character in the book. He describes what life was like in a concentration camp. If you like history and historical fiction, more specifically WWII and when Nazi occupied Germany, you would like this one. Books similar to this one is The Tattooist of Auschwitz.

I've had one of her books on my to be read pile for awhile. This one was part of our monthly reading challenge for LPL Readers Club we do every month. It's fast paced. Suspenseful.
Page-turner. I went into this book with a very different view of what I read about the book. Needless to say, it has exceeded my expectations. If you read and liked Riley Sager, Rachel Hawkins, Alex Michaelides and Mary Kupica, you would like this book.

I picked this up because of our monthly challenge, Aviation, we do every month for the LPL Readers Club. It's a true story about the wives and families of all the astronauts during the Apollo missions during the 50s and into the 60s. Great historical read. The wives were a very important part of putting men on the moon.

I picked this one because the cover caught my eye as it sat on the Gold Nugget shelf. It has details and amazing characters-real ones-committing crimes to learn science for human beings. It was shocking and not for the faint hearted. If you like non-fiction, history, true crime, or medical drama you will like this one.

I picked this book up from one of our monthly displays we do for the LPL Readers Club. It's something that I would normally would not pick up. I thought this book was great because it's very rare that a book is written with the main hero as a woman. I did not realize this book would be something that was an absolute page turner. It's one you will not want to put down. If you like Dani Pettrey, Irene Hannon, Suzanne Brockman or Sandra Brown, you will enjoy Lynette Eason. I finished this whole series, plus two more of her series pretty quickly.

It was an easy read. You did not want to put the book down until you finish it. I give it a 5 star rating. If you like western books, books that have Rangers in them, rustlers, and old west you will like this one.

"Twas the Knife Before Christmas by Jacqueline Frost
I read this book because I read this first one last year during the Holiday season reading Challenge. It was a page turner. I decided to finish the series this year. This one is the second in a trilogy. The first one is Twelve Slays of Christmas. It's action packed to keep you wanting to know more. Suspenseful.I was completely wrong in who the murderer was. If you like cozy mysteries, Christmas books and gentle reads, you should pick this series up. Ginger Bolton and Karen Rose Smith write books similar to this one.
