What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

So this is probably a long shot, but it's this romance novel where the heroine really really loves diet coke and specifically the very first sip. And she talks about how her ex would always open the can and take the first sip bc he thought it was funny to do that. And it's framed as being one of those small things that shows a real problem. I think the book was in the first person but I'm not sure . It's such a specific detail and it is driving me batty, tbh.

The Dating Proposal by Lauren Blakely. Seems like it is a reimagining of Trophy Husband by the same author. I'm not sure which version you read or if only one version has this detail.

Ok so, it turns out it's the Trophy Husband. I don't remember when I read it but it stuck in my head. I was able to find and confirm it. Y'all are amazing.
