Besides Public libraries Do you visit and/or borrow from speciality libraries. I Do. (Or Did before I was in a wheelchair).,In Stockholm I have borrowed from Swedish filminstitute’s library, Karolinska institutet (Stockholm’s medical school) and jewish community’s library.. Two parrishes in central Stockholm Also have libraries but I have not borrowed anything from them.

I used to borrow from my college's social work library but if I still borrow from such places I am probably not aware of it. Sometimes a book I am looking for is probably only available through a specialty library, but I just send from it through the Michigan e-library system without always noticing which library has it...
No specialty libraries where I live but I could probably order anything through our local library. How did we even survive before we could order what we wanted. I guess I wasn't as fussy about what I read back then.

But I confess that I do miss the days when I would just troll the library shelves looking for possibilities.

I also mostly order online, only because our library is small and doesn't have a lot of choices. When I get to the main branch (15 miles away) its like a shopping spree.
