I can't tell you how glad I am to be part of this group and re-read or read books by one of my favourite authors. Thank you Tracey for inviting me and for planning this and for starting this group first place️️:-) Blessings over you and yours!

Thank you Lesle. It's something I wanted to read this read so I thought why not make a group because there may be others who just need a little motivation to jump into these books. :) I think we all need some cosy, uplifting literature in our lives, and kindred spirits of course.

Hi Diana (lovely name and so appropriate for this group.) I was hoping there would be other kindred spirits out there so it's wonderful to have you on board. Thank you for your kind words and blessings to you also.

I'm like you Tracey, I've read the first 4 Anne books. I'll be joining in reading Anne's House of Dreams. The Landscapes of Anne of Green Gables looks good too. Thanks for starting the group.

Great. I look forward to it.

It should be interesting for me. I know of the series through television, but have never read any of the books or seen any of the television series.
I saw this group based on a post by Jillian and I've wanted to reread the series for years. Thank you, Tracey for the idea! I don't know if I will be able to get to many of the non-fiction ones, but will be interested in the discussions.
Welcome Caroline. I found my library had the non fiction books as ebooks also but if you want you can substitute another book that you can find. That would be interesting. The group is for kindred spirits to have enjoyment and to fill our lives with pleasant thoughts.
So excited to join this group! I love Anne and have read all the books, but am committing to read them again. I can’t wait to discuss with you all!

That's great. I am just posting the thread for it.

I love all things Montgomery and am happy to have found this group. I'm planning to reread many of the works of LMM this fall for the #MoreMontgomeryChallenge. My first reread will be The Blue Castle. I see that you all are reading it in November, so I will look forward to your discussion.
Hi. . .I'm new to the group, and a lifelong Anne fan. My daughter (reared to be an Anne fan!) and I were hiking, and started talking about "What ever happened to. . ." The character we both zeroed in on was Josie Pye -- after all, not many villains in the Anne books, and Josie is as close as you get. That hike led to us writing a book. "Josie Pye" has just been (self) published, and is on Amazon. I would LOVE to know what people think of it. When you write something and put a lot of love into it, you lose perspective, so feedback from people who love LMM would mean a lot. Many thanks! Jane Kelly
I know I’m a little late but I finished the first book and quickly moving on to the second. I have heads of the series but never read them until now. Since I unable to obtain any Elizabeth Goudge books. I wandered over here! I’m finding the story delightful so far!
Joseph - Haven’t read that one yet but I will eventually. I’m currently reading Jane of Lantern Hill. Have you read it?
