I quite liked it, it's really well done, although haven't seen yet two last seasons, but right after I'll finish the book I will. ;)

I'm going to start the show in January, hopefully. I've heard it's pretty good.

Two key points regarding TV show:
• it's good;
• there's no Laconia, the show will end after this season. It will roughly be the same point of the story when the protomolecule story arc returned.

The Laconia Empire rising part of the story is covered in book 7.
The TV show ends with season 6.
I'm guessing the huge time jump of 30 years and possibly the budget is an issue for Amazon.

You really should watch the show, it is absolutely excellent, the best sci-fi show in existence imo.

I will make an exception as well. Sometimes, I am surprised by the quality, though usually it's the other way around.
