:Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: discussion

These stairs aren't ordinary stairs. Be careful where you step, and be careful to pay attention of where you're going. The stairs turn, the move, they change direction completely. Just be careful, you'll get used to them eventually.

Saturn leaves the great hall. She walks down the steps quickly stopping at the end of each to make sure Harvey was still behind her. She reaches the bottom of the stairs and heads towards the kitchen and Hufflepuff common room

Harvey followed the other Hufflepuff marveling in shock at how the stairs moved with magic. She'd never seen anything like this. Well, she hadn't really seen much magic in her life at all, if you disclude her first year of life. Harvey made it down the stairs then followed the other Hufflepuff down the hall not sure where they were really headed.

Rowan was, well, technically sneaking around the stairs. The rest if the Hufflepuffs were still in the common room, laughing about pranks they'd pulled and things they'd seen on the Hogwarts Express. Rowan sighed. She slipped down the stairs and glanced around to make sure no one else was there. She was alone. Rowan grinned to herself. Forbidden Forest, here I come.

Thomas ran up the staircase the minute he reached it. He had spotted Rowan, but was in a hurry….for once. He didn’t bother to call out to her—so he continued speed-running his way up. ‘C’mon, c’mon, stairs, don’t even think about it!’ He thought angrily as the stairs began shrieking. He stumbled, and was knocked into the railing as the staircase began to move.
“Seriously?!” Tommy snapped, and waited until the staircase stopped moving and changed his path.
Why was he in a hurry? Actually, he kind of wasn’t……he just needed to blackmail someone, was all…

Rowan jumped as Tommy ran past her like a bullet. He seemed to be in a hurry, so she wasn't too upset when he didn't acknowledge her. She sighed and continued down the now moving staircase. Hopefully Hagrid would be busy and not patrolling the woods.
