One Hell Of A Manga Group discussion

Here is a thread for introducing yourself to the rest of the group. Ill just start with my introduction;

Hi! Im Ronia! I love manga (Obviously) and anime of all kinds, my all time favorites being Full Metal Alchemist and Princess Tutu was great as well. Im currently reading Horimiya, and its absolutely AMAZING! I hope to get to know you all through the bonding powers of manga! XD

O-hiyo mina! I don't have an all time favourite (trying to keep an open eye for every genre) but I do prefer manga over anime - most of the time.
This my first time participating in a manga-loving group; hope we all get along well...

I have to admit, I haven't read manga or watched anime in FOREVER, but I just started re-introducing myself to it again. I'm currently re-reading Ranma 1/2. I always loved the anime, so now I'm going to read it. When I used to read manga, I was into Rurouni Kenshin (have the anime as well), Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Gravitation, and Juvenile Orion; and I was addicted to Gundam Wing and Fushigi Yuugi (animes). I'm actually kinda picky when it comes to manga/anime. I like more of I guess what people would consider the "pretty" art.

So, I am definitely open to more "current" suggestions, since all my favorites are pretty dated. *^-^*

Welcome Nicole! I hope you have a blast re-watching your favorite anime! As for new ones, we are currently discussing Horimiya, so you should try that out, and if you liked full metal alchemist I would personally suggest black butler. Hope you enjoy the group! :D

i guess ill do my intro now (owo) and its kinda long im sorry
soo im magic and im a casual reader and watcher of any new manga or anime(even though the opposite might seem true). the older ones are alright but i like the newer material a lot more. my favorite all time manga/anime is Fullmetal Alchemist and Gekkan Shoukjo Nozaki-kun. i also often only watch subs since dubs always make me cringe unless its Baccano or one of miyazaki's.
the current animes on my watchlist are pretty long and include Tokyo Ghoul(the reason for my current title), Assassination Classroom, and Parasyte. theres a lot more but basically i have at least one anime to watch everyday.
the mangas im waiting for are also pretty long so ill save you an unwanted list. if you ever want something to read ill definitely have something in mind. i only really recommend things i like, anyways.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Frances. I love manga (and anime too, though I barely ever have time to watch it.) My favorite manga would have to be Gunjou by Nakamura Ching, but I also really like almost anything by Junji Ito, and Love DNA XX 恋愛遺伝子XX　1巻 is a (guilty) favorite of mine too. I'm hoping to find some cool new series to read in this group.

Hello and welcome Frances! If you want suggestionas for anime\manga, this is the place! As you know, we are currently reading Horimiya, so i would obviously reccommend that. Other romance anime I liked are Princess tutu (So sweet and adorable!), School Rumble (Hilarious!), and Ouran high school host club (A little bit of both!). If you want anything more specific, let me know! :D

Love manga and anime (though I've pretty much dropped watching anime, only do so every now and then, no time Dx) but manga is a must at least once a day lol (even if it's only a chapter)

Haha, I like to have a variety on my plate which is kind of bad since I get hooked easily

same. Ive got a bunch of manga im waiting to be updated,but im to busy to read them when theyre updated. its why im thankful for the weekend

I have a week off from class coming soon so I'll be a shut in for a while (excluding the time I'm at work)
