Okay y'all modesty thread hijackers... XD

Here's your thread! I'll be on here too, trust me...

message 2: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon Okay, so I really want to attend Christendom College here in Virginia. It's the only Catholic college here and I don't want to attend and out of state school, plus my mom went and the stories she has told me about it make it sound awesome. I want to major in History, English, and I might need to take a class on business if I want to own that Cafe some day.

Nope. No college.

Lol I plan to go to a college in California (probably, unless I go visit it and decide that CA in general is too much to deal with XD) and I want to study film, creative writing, and business.

Hey, so don't completely diss California, Although, everyone here is moving out XD (Ahem, bad politics lol)
Other than the crazy government it really is beautiful here. You got the hot sunny beach in southern California, snowy mountains in northern California with rocky cliff-like shores, and beautiful vineyards and orange fields. The weather is great, except for the smoke in the summer from fires. Tbh I've never felt an earthquake and have lived here my whole life. the news hypes those up.

message 7: by Leah (last edited Dec 15, 2021 02:18PM) (new)

Leah Okay, this is my plan, so basically I used to want to get a degree in graphic design but things have changed and now I'm getting a degree in ministry/theology or something relating to that field. Mainly because as much as I love art, graphic design is boring and useless for what I want to do. I've taken a class in it before and I can't be that creative with it when doing logos and layouts. I've been hired as a freelance illustrator before and am confident that I can make it as a freelance artist. I want to get a degree in the ministry field because I know that that is the one degree I won't regret. because I would rather spend four years studying things that will benefit my relationship with God and help me, witness,/strengthen my convictions than study art which I love and will continue as a career but I can learn art on skillshare which is so much cheaper than a university degree. I'm taking some community college classes currently, but will be attending a Christian private university out of state. I want to freelance virtually which is pretty easy, so I can globally travel and learn about new cultures and hopefully witness to on the way. That Is my plan so far... but things change lol.

Leah oops sorry didn't mean to cut you off.
Yea what schools do you want to go to?

message 9: by Ariel (new)

Ariel | 13 comments Ooooo Rose I'm currently working on something like that. 10/10 recommend Charis Bible College. Cheaper than most schools but the learning is top notch. plus they have a bunch of extension schools.

message 10: by Leah (new)

Leah Ohhh Thx!
.... I'm looking it up now XD

message 11: by Ariel (new)

Ariel | 13 comments This will be very controversial (Women and Pastoral Roles) but actually by the end of my 2 year I will be a certified Reverend. Not sure where that will lead to in the future but Holy Spirit told me it's the direction I'm supposed to go.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

I wanna do NC State college.
It’s as a college isn’t Christian but there are Christian groups inside the college and I think some Christian classes

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I don’t really know exactly what I want to be. If I go into Engineering, I want to get a masters in Chemical Engineering. I also sorta want to be a Cast Director. But idk what I need to do that

message 14: by Leah (new)

Leah Not sure if I 100% agree with the women's pastoral role, but I already have a school with that belief + a friend with a similar calling, and I fully respect that choice and I think that it's so cool that you put in the effort required to do that. Congrats!! That is awesome!! (:

message 15: by Fortissimo (new)

Fortissimo (kendra_simps) I may do it online, or do some sort of school that is music based. The Brit School is my dream, but I'm not going to Britain to get an education I can probably get somewhere in the states. Where exactly, I don't know.

message 16: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon The only thing I'm worrying about is getting the right grades to get into the college of my choice. I'm not stupid, but I'm no brainiac either. (Unless you want to talk about HP or LOTR)

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

I want the option of College so im getting good grades just in case. Bt rn i don't wanna go to college.

message 18: by Alison (new)

Alison Well well, I want to go college somewhere, and study something for a specified amount of years.
Boom. Life plan.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

What are you guys going to college for?????????
I'm going to become a paramedic🚑

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Same I finally decided that where ever I go the training would be useful!!!!!

message 21: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon It would be nice if learning to be a mom was a course at colleges.

My plan is to go to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. With my friends because they want to go there to. They want to do ministry and I want to do physical therapy. Which I looked up and it said they graduate around the same time. So the year after we graduate college, we are going to travel the world together for a year. After that we will settle down, get our career jobs, and start our own families.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Ooh my brother went to Liberty!

All right, you guys! 2+ years after all of your comments, does anyone have any updates?? Did anyone get into their dream college, or are a step or two closer?

I'm in college now, and it's pretty cool!
