The audio narrator was very good. I didn’t care much for the book, and was going to lem it (too much family drama, not my cup of tea), but I already lemmed several other picks this year so I wanted to try to finish it. The narrator made all the difference.
I agree the narrator is great. I was waffling on the pick when I realized it was more about death than I wanted. I lost my dad 3 months ago and this holiday season I don’t need a reminder but then I got through the scene and kept listening because I had 15 more minutes to get home and I couldn’t easily change. So I’m still listening but for awhile I was ready to shut it off. The narrator helped push through that.

The nice thing about audio is you can kind of tune out if you really need to or speed it up and get over the area quickly.

I didn't expect that much in the beginning of the book. Then Orquidea (view spoiler)[turned into a tree and then I knew I was going to be in for a ride (hide spoiler)]. I loved it once stuff started happening.
