this is straight up impressive

Maybe like a short story contest every once in a while? Like, with a genre then maybe two or three keywords that need to be included. Then like, 1-3 weeks to write the story and once the deadline is reached we can see each other's progress and give suggestions and stuff. Or possibly vote on a winner and have a thread where the winning short stories are featured. ( this idea comes from my old writing group that went inactive )
