Kat wrote: "No, I haven't. Did you enjoy it?"I did muchly. But, more to the point, "Don't Fear the Reaper" is the sequel (or more accurately, the second in a trilogy), so you may want to check out "Chainsaw" first. Definitely a book to appeal to fans of 80's slasher films, but you don't need Jones' encyclopedic knowledge of the genre to appreciate it.
I hadn't heard Chainsaw was going to be a trilogy, I'm so excited! I freaking loved that book! Whitney you made my night!

Whitney, I just finished it. Pretty quick read. I gave it 3.8 stars out of 5. Liked it a lot but not as much as her first book
Just finished Dead Silence - and wow. First book in a really long time that truly creeped me out. Just discovered I have a new favorite genre and that is haunted ghost ship in space.
I also read Dead Silence. I still love the "haunted house in space" genre, but I found just about everything surrounding the main mystery (which was very cool and creepy) to be annoying and clichéd. I recognize I'm in the minority on this one.
I read Devil House. This was a disappointing read for me. I was hoping for more story set in the house but it just didn't go there.
