When I Was White: A Memoir by Sarah Valentine. This is non-fiction, but the writer wasn't trying to pass as white--she had grown up being told that she was white. It was only as she gets older that the truth comes out. Really interesting read.If you wanted fiction, Oxherding Tale by Charles R. Johnson features a light-skinned African American protagonist who has pass for white in order to avoid being captured and returned to slavery.

These books are good thank you guys so much, But I was hoping for less books with white passing people and more books with situations or people like Oli London who is White but had surgeries to in order to pass themselves off as Asian Or Hilaria Baldwin a white woman who faked a Spanish accent, misled people about her nationality and ethnic background.
These authors pretended to be black while identifying as white:Black Like Me
