Trials of Apollo (The Tower of Nero)- Book Review

As a massive fan of this series as a whole, I was very much looking forward to reading the final installment of the Trials of Apollo. In total, I was not disappointed with the end result. Following the losses and sacrifices Apollo and Meg have been through in the last four novels, book five served as the finale, in which Apollo has but two remaining enemies: the wicked stepfather of Meg and former emperor of Rome, Nero; as well as Apollo's arch nemesis Python.
As this is the final book of the series, at the end of the story the reader will know whether or not Apollo is able to recover his powers as a former Olympian god, or whether he is defeated by his enemies in the process. With so many aspects of the story to cover, book five is one of the longer books of the series, however I think it is written in a way in which it is easy to read without losing attention. A fitting end to one of my favorite series of all time, both this book and Trials of Apollo is a must-read for any mythology/Percy Jackson fan.
