"Fans are great. Fandom is weird." - Terry Pratchett

This zany challenge presents some of the most ubiquitous facets of fandom in contemporary popular culture. What about yourself? Are (or were) you a member of a particular fandom? Who is your favorite fictional character?

To join this challenge, please post a comment to inform the challenge leader how many books you plan to read for Fandomonium.
Each book may count for a single prompt. No repeating prompts.

If you are new to our group and/or our group challenges, take a moment to check out the Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly Challenges - Start Here thread for more information on how our challenges are run.

Have fun and happy reading!

Just completed #3 (adapted) - The Power of the Dog by Thomas Savage. I really enjoyed this novel! The landscape depictions were woven into the story so as to become a feature of the plot. The characters were interesting and complex with a villain that reminded me so much of someone, I hoped he would get his in the end (no spoilers!). Definitely worth reading! 5 stars
