I read Riot Baby by Tochi Onyebuchi - winner of a 2021 Alex Award. I can't say I liked this - parts of it were interested, but it was so disjointed and the ending was meh.
I read Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine which won a Costa Award. I'll be honest, I'd avoided this book up to this point thinking it wasn't really for me. Turns out I really enjoyed it. A bit slow moving and I did find myself glazing over some of the longer stretches of Eleanor's internal dialogue, but overall I'm really glad I finally gave it a chance.
Challenge completed!I was going to read this one in 2021 but never got around to do it. I read Black Sun. It won the ALA Alex Award in 2021.

I'm looking forward to the sequel for this!
