This is just the center of Diagon Alley. There are many routes you can take to get to shops.

Zane made his way through the crowded streets, on his way to Madam Malkins Robe Shop. Every year, that was the first Shop he went to. As did most other rich families. He shoved a few people out of the way, laughing, "Slytherin coming through! Make way! Shoo! Some of us have places to be!"

Zane finally spotted the shop he needed, and shoved a few more people. First years, who were very confused and had no idea where to go, quickly scurried out of his way as he made his way towards the shop. A grin placed his face, and you could even see it under his mask.

George looked around before slipping into the crowd. He really didn’t want to make a scene. George rubbed his tired eyes before heading to Gringott's Wizarding Bank to get some galleons out of his vault. ‘At least I have something to spend.. Hm.. Oh! What if I get an owl? I do have the money.. But.. Maybe I shouldn’t..” George debated this in his head for a moment before he passed a large group of 7th years, and finally saw Gringott’s.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Kiara speed walked down the street, in hopes of getting to the ice cream shop before too many people decided the same thing. She was pushed, jostled, and once down right shoved as she walked through the crowd. She almost wished the moon was full, but it was the middle of the day. She growled as another person jostled her arm.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

George wobbled his way out of Gringott’s, looking absolutely disgusted and sick and like he just got flown across a whole country. “I. Hate. Those. Carts.” He spat, and sat down on a nearby bench that had nobody else occupying it. He placed his hands on his face, muttering words. He pulled out his ash wood with unicorn hair wand, and twirled it around in his hands. He did have the temptation to say a few spells to himself, but he ignored it.

Clayton appeared in an alley between two or more buildings. He really couldn't tell. As much as he hated crowds, he knew he had to at least get some of his school supplies for the next year at Hogwarts.
He appeared wearing fancy robes that looked as if they costed a fortune. They didn't, they costed barely ten gallons. Clay didn't care much for his appearance, but his adopted parnents did. Since he was born pureblooded, Ethan and Estella wished to keep that up even though his parents were long dead.
The portkey Clay used to get here, laid sadly on the ground. The comb had been broken multiple times but it still somehow survived the magical leap they took to get here.
With a long sigh, Clay checked to make sure his glamours where in place before exiting the alley.

George looked up for a moment, seeing as he had caught something in the corner of his eye. Seeing the all too adored Gryffindor, he lowered his head again and continued twirling his ash wood wand in his hand. Strangely, it didn’t look like ash, but it was. He began kicking his feet so that people would stay away from his personal bubble. Someone almost tripped, but caught themselves and apologized for getting in the way. George slightly chuckled when they left. At least it was working enough. He seriously was not in the mood for communication. He wanted to be back up in the RavenClaw Tower sleeping peacefully on a Saturday morning. Nope. Instead he was here of all places.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Kiara almost tripped over some kid sitting on a bench. She fell and sat on the ground. Her patience was gone. She was ready to let loose on this boy.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

George looked up again, and tucked in his legs. The RavenClaw simply did nothing, but kept twirling his ash wood wand. “Well someone is in a bad mood from the looks of it,”

Clay's face seemed to brighten when he saw a familar Ravenclaw sitting on a lonely bench. His eyes flickered as they landed on the other boy's wand. As if on cue, his own wand gave a warm hum inside of his robe pockets. And despite the large crowds and his dislike of people and talking, Clay slowly made his way towards the Ravenclaw. Though almost halfway there, Clay suddenly stopped in the middle of the street. Flashes of voices and colors entered his head as he winced and closed his eyes tightly. The visions mixed together, multiple coming at once.

"Master, I've heard good news about a certain boy who will be attending Hogwarts this year"
"I'm Harry, Harry Potter"

Quickly, as if to save himself, Clay pressed his fingers to his forehead and the visions disappeared. He schooled his features and went to look back up at the Ravenclaw boy but instead he saw a girl standing in front of him. With a strange pluse of emotion, Clay hurried and finally made him way to stand in front of the boy and he stood next to the girl. He opened his mouth a few times, wanting to find something to say, but his mind came up blank.

George nearly toppled over as he jumped what seemed like a whole foot into the air. He quickly stuffed his wand back into his robes, and stayed completely still. He didn’t dare look up at Clay. He kept his eyes on Kiara with a death stare that clearly said, ‘Try me.

“Watch where you’re going, then, you over-spiced chicken.” George said calmly, acting as though nothing happened and this was an every-day thing. He pulled out his wand again, “RavenClaws know more spells than any other house, so I recommend watching where you tread.” George scowled.

“What does an O in Transfiguration, Charms and D.A.D.A, and an E in Divination and Potions mean to you?” George left his wand in his right hand. Multiple people had stopped in the middle of the street to see what was going on. He didn’t like this at all.

There was something about the girl that made Clay's skin itch. Maybe it was that she was trying to threaten George or maybe it was something else. He didn't know. But he did know he wanted this show to end.
Without a second thought, Clay gripped his wand that was still in his pocket with one hand before speaking rather quietly, though he could clearly be heard. "I don't know who you think you are, but I wouldn't recommend starting fights with strangers in the middle of such a busy street. I suggest you lay back and walk away." His American accent shined through as it always did when he was upset or annoyed. After Clay said this, he glanced at the Ravenclaw boy with a somewhat soft smile as if it were Clay's fault for this little argument and he was trying to say sorry. He made a gesture for George to pocket his wand before glaring at the girl as he stood to his full height. "I've seen you around before, Gryffindor probably. If I were you, I wouldn't start fights I couldn't finish." And with that, Clay let go of his wand and crossed his arms in front of himself.

((Oh, you’re perfectly fine! I’m quite used to it after 7 years of Roleplay.))

George’s insides immediately fluttered at the smile he was given by Clayton. He stuffed his wand back into his left robe pocket, and looked away from Kiara. He was now looking at his feet. Well, his brown shoes, anyway. George looked up at Clay, then quickly back down, hiding his expressions as always.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Kiara rolled her eyes. "I fight who I want, are you going to stop me?"

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

George muttered something under his breath again. His wand started burning in his pocket, probably because it felt he wasn’t in a good mood because of Kiara. Ash wands usually took their owners emotions after them. He stared at Kiara. “I expect that you have somewhere to be if you were in such a rush enough to not watch where you were going,” George helplessly put his hands up in the air with an ‘innocent’ expression planted on his face.

Despite how he might be feeling, Clayton didn't want to be rash so with a quick flick of his hand and a mutter of the word muffliato, a buzzing came into play and surronded the three. "You're rather lucky I'm the person I am" He stated before quickly glancing at George before flickering his eyes back to the girl. Still, something was unsettling about the girl. "George is right, you must have someway you need to be. Unless.." He trailed off, another small burst of memories and images flashed in his head. Clay looked down at the Ravenclaw boy again, his ears picking up a noise of muttering though he did heard what it was. Clay flick his hand in the air again and the charm he placed around them vanished. He was going to say something but he decided he wasn't his secret to share.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments The boy unnerved Kiara. "Goodbye punks, unfortunately I'll see you at Hogwarts." She started to walk away.

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

George no longer looked up. He kept staring at his feet and the ground. ‘Let me live, huh? What’re you gonna do? Bite me?’ he thought, and doing so it was quite plain that he was thinking to himself. ‘I swear to Merlin.. I don’t know how I’m supposed to shop with an idiot on the loose and another idiot right next to me—

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Kiara fought to keep the werewolf inside her. The moon was full, but it was day. Since she couldn't feel the light from it she wouldn't transform fully, but partially, which was just as bad. She fought for control.

Clayton resisted the urge to use a certain string of spells on the girl as she started to walk away. Instead, he exhaled and sat down on the bench next to the Ravenclaw boy. He sat for a few seconds in silence, his mind flying at different speeds. 'Let him live? Who did she think she was, honestly. With a snap of my fingers I could destroy her and her future' thoughts similar to this also ran through his head before he glanced at George, a smile coming to his face. "Are you, uh, are you alright?" He started before quietly adding, "I'm sorry I got involved, I don't know what got over me."

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

George stayed silent until Clay broke the silence. “Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine. Honestly I probably would’ve gotten a letter from the Ministry telling me that I used underage magic if you hadn’t stepped in..” George fluffed up his hair more, hiding his miniature jackalope antlers. “Sorry if I, uh.. Caused you any trouble,”

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Kiara sighed, she was in control again. She looked far back at the two boys. Had she been too rough? No, it didn't matter now anyway. She pulled the door open and ducked into the ice cream shop.

Another warm hum came from Clay's wand as he glanced at the crowds that were starting to thin out. 'Huh I guess they got bored' he thought before shaking his thoughts away, "Are you sure you're fine?" He asked softly before glancing at the ground in front of him. "You didn't cause me any, though I think I might be getting a small lecture from Estella when I get home. She'll hear of this before I even step foot into the house" Clayton sighed as his went back to George as if the Ravenclaw boy was a magnet.

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

George laughed, “I’m sure she’ll be on your tail quicker than that.” But then George realized he wasn’t hiding his emotions and he shook his head, then looked at Clay. “I’m fine. I promise.” ‘The question is, will I be okay?’ George looked in the direction of where Kiara had went, a shiver going down his spine.

message 43: by mel (new)

mel (melthemuse)

As sappy as it may of sounded, George's laugh sounded like a melody to Clay's ears. His face turned a bit pink at the thought and he ducked his head before laughing softly at the Ravenclaw's comment, "You're probably right, it's like she has ears everywhere" Clayton said with another smile as he lifted his head. "Okay, that's good, you just look.. kind of uncomfortable or something like that" He said as he followed George's glance to where that girl walked away to.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Kiara stepped out of the shop, cone in hand, and noticed the boys staring at her. *Well, that's weird* she thought, and sat down at a table.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

His insides turned. George Davidson, actually feeling this way. What was going on with him? He then noticed Clay turn slightly pink, “Tomato.” He couldn’t help it this time, and he smiled wholeheartedly. Kiara got out of his mind. For the most part, anyway. Of course he was still terrified deep down, but that could easily be hidden. George looked across the busy street, wrapping his arms around his legs.

message 46: by mel (new)

mel (melthemuse)

Clay went silent suddenly, whether was from social overload or George calling him a tomato. He didn't know, there were a lot of things he didn't know about. Especially when it came to his feelings and emotions. After pushing away the flustered buzzing in his brain, Clay let another smile return to his face before opening his mouth, "Soo, have you gotten all of your stuff for Hogwarts? All I have gotten is some money, since ya know.." he trailed again, it was like he did that often.

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

“Nah. I haven’t even started yet. I’m thinking of maybe buying an owl after I get all my shopping done.” George thought for a moment, “..Hm.. Because we are in the same year… Wanna go on a Hogwarts Shopping Spree together? I don’t expect you to say yes, hardly anyone ever does.” George grabbed the list of things he needed. Robes were already crossed out, seeing as he got his way earlier.

message 48: by mel (new)

Clay's heart seemed to stop as he glanced at George and then back at the busy street. But it quickly started up again, "I'd love to go on a Hogwarts Shopping Spree with you" He finally breathed out before frowning and looking at George, "Wait, why would someone say no to you? That's.. well that's like.." Clayton stopped himself before he could say something stupid and reached into his robe pockets and grabbed his supplies list. "An owl? Maybe I should get myself one of those.. Or a raven. Ravens are pretty cool. You think Dumbledore would let me have one?" He asked the Ravenclaw boy as he stood and held his hand out for George.

message 49: by [deleted user] (last edited Dec 28, 2021 10:19AM) (new)

“Maybe. I heard a first year has a miniature sized bear, so I’m pretty sure you could have a Raven.” George shrugged, and looked down at his feet again as he took Clay’s hand. ‘Oh Merlin, Merlin, Merlin, save me why—I actually just took someone’s hand why—’ George’s mind raced, and as soon as he stood up he quickly let go and put his hands in his pockets. “Where to first?” He had ignored Clay’s question. He didn’t have the nerve to answer it.

"Wait. A first year has a bear? Like a real one? That's wicked" Clay said with another smile as George grabbed his hand as he got up. When George let go, he frowned at the lost of warmth before quietly tucking his hands in his robes. "Maybe Flourish and Blotts? I don't really mind, it's up to you" He hummed honestly, he didn't really care about his own opinions but he did care about the other boy's for some reason. With another frown, he realized George didn't answer his question but he didn't push it, if he wanted to speak about it, then he'd speak about it.
