:Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: discussion

Clayton appeared in an alley between two or more buildings. He really couldn't tell. As much as he hated crowds, he knew he had to at least get some of his school supplies for the next year at Hogwarts.
He appeared wearing fancy robes that looked as if they costed a fortune. They didn't, they costed barely ten gallons. Clay didn't care much for his appearance, but his adopted parnents did. Since he was born pureblooded, Ethan and Estella wished to keep that up even though his parents were long dead.
The portkey Clay used to get here, laid sadly on the ground. The comb had been broken multiple times but it still somehow survived the magical leap they took to get here.
With a long sigh, Clay checked to make sure his glamours where in place before exiting the alley.

Clay's face seemed to brighten when he saw a familar Ravenclaw sitting on a lonely bench. His eyes flickered as they landed on the other boy's wand. As if on cue, his own wand gave a warm hum inside of his robe pockets. And despite the large crowds and his dislike of people and talking, Clay slowly made his way towards the Ravenclaw. Though almost halfway there, Clay suddenly stopped in the middle of the street. Flashes of voices and colors entered his head as he winced and closed his eyes tightly. The visions mixed together, multiple coming at once.
"Master, I've heard good news about a certain boy who will be attending Hogwarts this year"
"I'm Harry, Harry Potter"
Quickly, as if to save himself, Clay pressed his fingers to his forehead and the visions disappeared. He schooled his features and went to look back up at the Ravenclaw boy but instead he saw a girl standing in front of him. With a strange pluse of emotion, Clay hurried and finally made him way to stand in front of the boy and he stood next to the girl. He opened his mouth a few times, wanting to find something to say, but his mind came up blank.

((this is different for me because I've never acted like this before))

“What does an O in Transfiguration, Charms and D.A.D.A, and an E in Divination and Potions mean to you?” George left his wand in his right hand. Multiple people had stopped in the middle of the street to see what was going on. He didn’t like this at all.

There was something about the girl that made Clay's skin itch. Maybe it was that she was trying to threaten George or maybe it was something else. He didn't know. But he did know he wanted this show to end.
Without a second thought, Clay gripped his wand that was still in his pocket with one hand before speaking rather quietly, though he could clearly be heard. "I don't know who you think you are, but I wouldn't recommend starting fights with strangers in the middle of such a busy street. I suggest you lay back and walk away." His American accent shined through as it always did when he was upset or annoyed. After Clay said this, he glanced at the Ravenclaw boy with a somewhat soft smile as if it were Clay's fault for this little argument and he was trying to say sorry. He made a gesture for George to pocket his wand before glaring at the girl as he stood to his full height. "I've seen you around before, Gryffindor probably. If I were you, I wouldn't start fights I couldn't finish." And with that, Clay let go of his wand and crossed his arms in front of himself.
George’s insides immediately fluttered at the smile he was given by Clayton. He stuffed his wand back into his left robe pocket, and looked away from Kiara. He was now looking at his feet. Well, his brown shoes, anyway. George looked up at Clay, then quickly back down, hiding his expressions as always.

Despite how he might be feeling, Clayton didn't want to be rash so with a quick flick of his hand and a mutter of the word muffliato, a buzzing came into play and surronded the three. "You're rather lucky I'm the person I am" He stated before quickly glancing at George before flickering his eyes back to the girl. Still, something was unsettling about the girl. "George is right, you must have someway you need to be. Unless.." He trailed off, another small burst of memories and images flashed in his head. Clay looked down at the Ravenclaw boy again, his ears picking up a noise of muttering though he did heard what it was. Clay flick his hand in the air again and the charm he placed around them vanished. He was going to say something but he decided he wasn't his secret to share.

Clayton resisted the urge to use a certain string of spells on the girl as she started to walk away. Instead, he exhaled and sat down on the bench next to the Ravenclaw boy. He sat for a few seconds in silence, his mind flying at different speeds. 'Let him live? Who did she think she was, honestly. With a snap of my fingers I could destroy her and her future' thoughts similar to this also ran through his head before he glanced at George, a smile coming to his face. "Are you, uh, are you alright?" He started before quietly adding, "I'm sorry I got involved, I don't know what got over me."

Another warm hum came from Clay's wand as he glanced at the crowds that were starting to thin out. 'Huh I guess they got bored' he thought before shaking his thoughts away, "Are you sure you're fine?" He asked softly before glancing at the ground in front of him. "You didn't cause me any, though I think I might be getting a small lecture from Estella when I get home. She'll hear of this before I even step foot into the house" Clayton sighed as his went back to George as if the Ravenclaw boy was a magnet.

As sappy as it may of sounded, George's laugh sounded like a melody to Clay's ears. His face turned a bit pink at the thought and he ducked his head before laughing softly at the Ravenclaw's comment, "You're probably right, it's like she has ears everywhere" Clayton said with another smile as he lifted his head. "Okay, that's good, you just look.. kind of uncomfortable or something like that" He said as he followed George's glance to where that girl walked away to.

Clay went silent suddenly, whether was from social overload or George calling him a tomato. He didn't know, there were a lot of things he didn't know about. Especially when it came to his feelings and emotions. After pushing away the flustered buzzing in his brain, Clay let another smile return to his face before opening his mouth, "Soo, have you gotten all of your stuff for Hogwarts? All I have gotten is some money, since ya know.." he trailed again, it was like he did that often.

Clay's heart seemed to stop as he glanced at George and then back at the busy street. But it quickly started up again, "I'd love to go on a Hogwarts Shopping Spree with you" He finally breathed out before frowning and looking at George, "Wait, why would someone say no to you? That's.. well that's like.." Clayton stopped himself before he could say something stupid and reached into his robe pockets and grabbed his supplies list. "An owl? Maybe I should get myself one of those.. Or a raven. Ravens are pretty cool. You think Dumbledore would let me have one?" He asked the Ravenclaw boy as he stood and held his hand out for George.

"Wait. A first year has a bear? Like a real one? That's wicked" Clay said with another smile as George grabbed his hand as he got up. When George let go, he frowned at the lost of warmth before quietly tucking his hands in his robes. "Maybe Flourish and Blotts? I don't really mind, it's up to you" He hummed honestly, he didn't really care about his own opinions but he did care about the other boy's for some reason. With another frown, he realized George didn't answer his question but he didn't push it, if he wanted to speak about it, then he'd speak about it.
