Again, I finally got around to reading it (which is unusual for a cookbook). I liked it and I might search out another from these two, but I'm still going to order out when I get a dumpling craving.

But I do enjoy reading about how to make things, even if I won't ever do it myself.
I have not read this one yet but for GN and cooking I really enjoyed Relish: My Life in the Kitchen by Lucy Knisley. I even made some of the recipes that she had in the book and they were excellent!
I only just recently got this book from my library but I just couldn't get into it. I'm not really into cookbooks but I did enjoy Relish years ago. maybe I'll try this one again another time when I'm thinking about actually making dumplings or something

It was weird but cool!
You are correct that that looks right up my alley! Tragically my library doesn't have it but that doesn't mean I won't be able to get my hands on it eventually! Thanks for the recommendation!
Hey! I finally read Meal and while it wasn't officially a GN selection, I thought I'd update here that it is excellent! Thank you Russell for the awesome recommendation. I never knew anything about eating bugs so this was definitely informative!
