I really liked this one. It is a very short, quick book that has all the classic elements of a dystopian book and society. The ending, when the boy actually reached the town, made me intrigued in seeing what happens next, and the book did leave quite a few questions unanswered. Like why is this society the way that it is, who is responsible for isolating it, and making everyone forget everything they knew about the word before?
I did feel sad for the main character, when he started feeling feelings but his family didn't love him, because love isn't something important or something they do in this society.
It was interesting to see how everyone was like programed, they did everything they were told to to, and big life events like getting a bicycle happened at the same year and time to everyone. It just made me think how similar it actually is to our society, like how everyone is waiting till they are 18 to get a car or getting to drink. It is fascinating, and you could write a whole essay about it.
I am not in a rush, but I am planning on picking up the next one sometime in the future. 4/5 stars!

A classic dystopia, with some science fiction elements.
