I really enjoyed The Hunter and The Villian by LJ Shen!

If you haven't read it yet, you HAVE to read Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley. I specifically suggest doing the audiobook so that you can hear Ojibwe words pronounced.

The book is realistic mystery, set in the early 2000s, and features some amazingly written, strong and well rounded characters.

TW: the story does feature drug use, sexual assault, and gun violence.
