Wren wrote: "Ok, well, I have taken more then 800 photos in the last 3 months so, yes I love photography!!"You've taken more than I have recently. Been in a bit of a photo block. I intend to take more soon though =) Is there anything in particular that you like to photograph? I will photograph anything and everything (which I have done lol XD) but I prefer taking photos of people, animals, fireworks, and landscapes.
I like taking photos of pretty much anything. I got a micro lens for my birthday a couple of years ago so I have been taking a lot of butterfly/mushroom/flower/bird photos.
Neat! I don't use that kind of camera (the kind where you can switch lenses). I use my mother's cameras because I don't own one that is my own yet. One is a FujiFilm Finepix XP90 (which was bought for its underwater photo capabilities) and the other is a Samsung WB1100F. My personal favorite is the Samsung (it's the same camera I'm holding in my PFP), but I like the other one as well. I sometimes use my dad's phone as well, though his model constantly changes. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of camera do you use?
Wren wrote: "No! it is totally ok, and it's a Nikon D7000, the camera is actorly my dad's but I always use it!!"Ooh, sweet! I've never used a Nikon. I hear they're good cameras. The closest camera I've ever used was a Canon, but it was a long time ago as that was the camera my mother used when I was growing up. It was a light blue Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS Digital Camera. Never used it for my photography though because it broke before I got into photography. Is it a good camera?
This is a blog post I wrote in April last year that is basically a gallery of the best photos I took in 2016 if anyone is interested:https://musingsofanarthriticartist.bl...

Yes! it's a really good camera.

I want to buy myself my own camera later, but I can't afford it at the moment. I only have 200 dollars and in order to buy something like a Canon or DSLR, they're about 450-600 dollars at the cheapest. That's if I want one that looks like the Samsung I use and not the Fujifilm. I want something that looks more like a pro camera, similar to what I use now. But I actually need money for that lol XD I'm not just going to ask my parents for a camera right now either, especially since both ones that I use work perfectly fine right now.

Nice! I really like the sunflower one. I have a couple of my photos on my profile if you want to see them. and I do my editing on Lightroom.

same, I really want my one camera one day, but for now my dad's is more than fine.

🥰 Thanks! Nice, I'll be sure to check them out! I do my editing with my built in editer on my computer. I have an HP, so I think it's just Microsoft Photos. Or maybe Windows Photos. It's one of those editers. It works pretty well I think. I haven't shared many of my photos on my Goodreads, but I'll comment some here soon. I have to go to bed right now, so I can't at this moment, but I'll definitely share more =)

Same =) My mother's will work for me for now though.
I actually have time to share a few:This is a photo I took in February of last year. I then edited it soon after (the black and white filter + the extreme vignette are the edits).

This is a photo I took in October 2018, just before Halloween.

I took this one about a month before. The black thing is my left hand, while the ring thing is a magnifying glass.

I took this one that same year (2018) but in May

Who else loves ornaments? This photo is edited. I took this in 2016.

This one was taken exactly a month later than the one above.
Wren wrote: "Here are some of mine⬇︎"I like the dewy/water droplet ones. I also like the bokeh in the first one. I think the first one is my favorite. The vibrancy of the butterfly wing is gorgeous as well. Really nice macro shots 😁
These are the best photos I took last night. The camera I use has a light trace option. This option is typically used with a tripod, but that's kind of impossible to pull off inside a moving vehicle, so I tend to move the camera around to create little designs, though I never know how the photo is going to come out. I have 25 photos here, and they are separated into groups of 5 inside the spoiler tags. I'm having a hard time picking a favorite because I like them all 🤣 (though my favorite batches are 1-3) In case you are confused about what these are, last night my family and I went to go see Christmas lights in a local neighborhood that lights up every year. These are some of those houses when I use my technique.(view spoiler)
