Rachelle | 157 comments - One from paranormal (witches, vampires, etc.): Murder on the
House (Haunted Home Renovation Book #3) by Juliet Blackwell
The paranormal in this book is one ghost that Mel Turner sees when she first enters the house and evidence of at least one other ghost - marbles coming downstairs

This post includes my choice for Craft Related : A Stitch in Crime (Crochet Mystery #4)by Betty Hechtman and a free choice: Rush for the Gold: Mystery at the Olympics (The Sports Beat #6) by John Feinstein. This is not a murder mystery, it fits because a young reporter who is the boyfriend of an Olympic swimmer feels some person or persons might fix it so his girlfriend finishes first. It is written for teens so there is no sex, no gore, and bad language. Stevie is still in school and is a reporter, not a pro detective , so it could be a cozy.

This post updates my list to include culinary - which is about a chef in Kensington Palace. The other is career-based - though Lana Lee did not want to have a career in her parents' restaurant Ho-Lee, she is now the manager and she solves crimes on the side.

So many great books. I have to go back to Vivien Chien's series. I enjoyed the first couple of books.

Good Friday is not a traditional holiday but it is significant for Catholics and I wanted something different to read. This finishes this challenge.
