So this is a place where no spoiler warning is needed, right? I’m assuming that’s the difference between the two threads?

Yes, I turned to that several times, especially with book 1. As the world and story started to make more sense in later chapters I turned to it less but still find it useful when I’m confused.
Really enjoyed this entry in the Wheel of Time series and excited to see what happens next. Loved seeing Rand start to come into his own and stop being pushed around so much. Also really starting to see why people like Matt (he was no fun the first two books).Absolutely hated the Faile relationship, especially the cattiness while traveling they ways. (view spoiler) Loved the rest of Perrin's story but could have done without her or with a girl that is more likeable.
Overall really enjoyed this story, except for wishing Faile would die in a trolloc attack, and looking forward to starting book five.
Finished it! 🥳This must be the most boring one so far... Either because it was sooo long, or that I'm getting tired of the world building part and need more action and the magic system now 😂
If I've understood correctly, book 5 should be that 👌🙏

2nd time reading through the series and this one is still my favorite... unfortunately the next 6 books are the worst in the series...

Interesting...I have always heard it the other way. Looking at the ratings on Goodreads the next 6 books are rated lower, also checking out rankings online and TSR is in top 3 of most lists.With that being said they are all good books and I hope the series picks up for you and you really start to enjoy it.
Lord of Chaos (book #6) has the best battle in the whole series.
