Ok everyone! I can't seem to find this book in my library history, but I know I've borrowed it electronically and I need help remembering the title/series so I can find more books if they're are any. I can't remember any specifics for the life of me.
It's a sci-fi/fantasy about a mapmaker/cartographer girl that gets stranded on a land where the indigenous people are "savage" (Viking like description) indigenous people turn out to not be savage and she falls in love with one of the men while she waits to find a way back to where she came from. There is a war against the indigenous people and the more advanced people I think. I think that's all I can remember. TIA!
