I really need to try Mary Roach sooner rather than later. Every time I read a review about one of her books, I feel I would love them.
Absolutely one of my favorite authors. Yes, she does sprinkle in a lot of humor within her investigative science.

And she has so many subject to choose from. I've read three recently and I think one of her newest ones, Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law, is my favorite so far. With Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife right behind it.

I may just read/listen to all her books this month. I listened to Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law last month and really enjoyed it. Gulp is very similar.
I like how Mary Roach structures her books. She tells the facts but she also has fun stories sprinkled throughout.
I'm not going to lie... for this one, a lot of the stories were a bit gross, but then we talking about eating weird things and bodily fluids. The most interesting story to me was the part on testing dog foods and how dogs react.
I personally am incredibly curious and always want to know why and how things work. Mary Roach gives that to me on all her books. On to the next one... Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife.
