Sarah The best book I read in 2021 was Voices from the Pandemic: Americans Tell Their Stories of Crisis, Courage and Resilience
Book by Eli Saslow.

Honestly, it came into work and I was like, looks easy to read. I couldn’t put it down. It had stories from people affected in all different ways from healthcare workers to victims families to government officials to someone standing in the line for free food. It was fascinating, sad and hopeful.

He also wrote Rising Out of Hatred about a KKK member turned real human and that was also great!

Cheyenne (cschweikert) | 3 comments I can’t just choose one!

I loved Verity by Colleen Hoover, really all her books I love!

The Rose Code by Kate Quinn was really good, though all her books I love!

The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner, she only has the one book, so I’m excited to see what else she comes up with.

For children’s chapter books, I really loved The Power of Poppy Pendle, so much I requested the series at our library since we used interlibrary loan to get it.
