Mary Anne (maryanneclement) | 253 comments Wrapping up my year of reading in 2022 with a summary.

Crushed my Goodreads challenge of 60 books -- read 73!
- 48 fiction, 25 non-fiction
- 25 hardcover, 18 audio, 11 paperback, 19 digital
- More than 50% were 4 or 5 star reads
- 38 by female authors, 35 by male authors
- 43 were "new to me" authors

Completed the Alphabet Soup challenge, and did the Anti-Alphabet challenge twice, and almost 3 times.

Completed the monthly genre challenge but not all of the monthly prompts (finished 32 of 36 total).

Read 15 classics - on a goal of 12. Read 15 "new books" (ones released in 2022 or late 2021) - on a goal of 10.

I read a ton of great books in 2022!

Top 5 fiction books:
Harlem Shuffle by Colson Whitehead Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi The Cartographers by Peng Shepherd Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Top 5 nonfiction books:
