sorry for the late reply! basically, we're all planning to start Clockwork Angel on january 8th (today)! just read along once you get your copy, and chat about the book with us here! :)

152 pages in! so far it's pretty alright.

haha yeah, i had a bit of freetime yesterday and decided to read a bit! it's always nice when you get a moment of peace and silence. how far along are you?

Just made it to 75! Everyone is taking a nap so I’m trying to read as much as I can lol

(view spoiler)[hmm, i definitely think this was made for a younger audience! there are a few tiny things i don't like, but i can see my younger self glazing over them without noticing nor caring

that being said, i was not a fan of how will and charlotte (and everyone, basically) were making decisions for tessa. like when lady camille gave them the idea of tessa Changing into her - they just jumped to the conclusion of having tessa risk her life and do it. they did give tessa a choice, but peer pressure is a thing yk?

and aaah i knew the prisoner was gonna be nate. was low key hoping for something a tiny bit more dramatic but this was fine lol (hide spoiler)]

gonna aim to finish the book today (hopefully)! i'll still be willing to chat abt it though

final thoughts:(view spoiler)[ kinda disappointed, not gonna lie. was sorta expecting something more dramatic and well-written but i guess my expectations were just really high? not too sure where it went wrong. the ending was absolutely chaotic, jessie or whatever her name is has EARNED my hatred for her, and will can go choke on peanuts (respectfully). okay maybe i'm being really harsh LOL-

i mean, it was enjoyable! i just didn't like how the pacing was all neat only to be messed up in the end. like what were the other 400 pages for?? sheesh. jem is also a beauty and i adore him completely. tessa, though, isn't too bad either. (hide spoiler)]

not sure if i want to continue the series~~ though i probably will give the second book a try before i give up!

So fast, we shall see I like it. Not much further than I was yesterday but I should have it finished soon. Husbands off work the best couple of days so I’ll have some time to myself.
