Age-Gap Romance: A story where one character is at least 7 years older than the other individual

I keep a little book for that and jot down the categories a book fits in. At some point I start to fill in the categories. Since I go for a double M (two times Emerald), I need to a least fill one of the categories once.

This is excellent - last year I was in Jae's Reading Challenge and readers posted a lot of books per category. That really helped.

@Moderator: It would be helpful to have a subgroup (or whatever it is called in Goodreads)
- general chat
- lists of participants (where we copy all 50 categories and each of us can start to add books).
If you create those "topics" I can fill in a first list and show how it is done. This is very helpful.

I'm reading Six Feet right now by Michele Reynolds and it's KU. It's really cute!

I agree, it would be really cool to have "collections" for each topic that we can browse.

@Drocks, thanks for the rec! :) I think I'll go with Just My Type by Lucy Bexley in the end since I'm a sucker for vampire romance (which is also on KU).

I think it's more of a challenge finding a book that isn't Age Gap than is (insert a wink and a smirk). I really wish this trope wasn't so prevalent, tbh. But I seem to be in the minority.

However, Fiona Riley's Beginner's Bet is great and fits this category.

Sienna Waters' QUIET LIFE is a good 'age gap' read. I really enjoyed it.

last year had a long, long reading streak without a single age-gap romance and needed one desperately in the end for that category - go figure! Because there are truly a lot of them.

I am in the same boat.I just finished reading Six Feet by Michele Reynolds. It is onKindle Unlimited.

Acts of Contrition is on KU.

"Manhattan Money" and "Fear of Falling" both are on Kindle unlimited and great reads.

Emma, I downloaded the PDF for the challenge on the IHL website. It's a chart and when I finish a book I type in the title, author, and date on the right side of the PDF to keep track of which categories I've read.

Like many others, I chose Six Feet by Michele M. Reynolds. I really enjoyed it (also fits single parent).
Just read Champagne Kisses by M.J. Duncan (also on KU) which would fit here (I put it in fake relationship). Love all of MJ Duncan's books and they're all on KU - this one's shorter, more a novella.
I also recommend Gun Brooke; age gap is like her brand ;) One of her earlier books - Coffee Sonata - has 2 age-gap romances, and one of her more recent books - The Blush Factor - was really good (DWP vibes).
