This is the main right hand side First Floor corridor. People are often in this corridor the most. This corridor also leads to a shortcut to the Quidditch Pitch.

George Davidson, and apparently Jay Walker as well, were walking slowly down the corridor. They seemed to be in a deep conversation. George was extremely well-known for having been an extremely good spellcaster, so there was a possibility they were talking about spells. Jay, on the other hand, was just a good dueler and a ball of happiness in general. It was an unusual sight seeing the two together out of all the RavenClaws…Especially conversing like they were planning for a war. Though, George always seemed to be in deep conversation anytime he talked with someone. Jay was the one who hardly ever was seen in such deep converse, it was weird indeed.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie walked into the corridor, bag swinging from her back. She was skipping a little down the corridor and her hair was bouncing behind her. Either she'd done something again or she was just having a good morning. She grinned and shoved her hair out if her face. Her bracelet jingled again.

Riley walked down the corridor, holding his bag to his chest with a book in front of the bag, the cover facing outward.
It was Romeo and Juliet.

It was very rare Riley would be seen without his best friend, however the Gryffindor was busy at the moment, and the Slytherin wanted to get to where they planned to meet as fast as he could.

They walked quickly, taking long strides due to his long legs.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie passed Riley and accidentally tripped. She fell down and banged her elbow in the stone floor. "Oh gosh! son of a....Argh!" She sat up. Her bag had spilled open and her textbooks were sliding around. She sighed and started picking them up.

Riley flinched, he didn't want to seem like a typical Slytherin, but they also really wanted to get to the library. The dirty blonde groaned to themself and kneeled down to help the other pick up her things.

"Sorry..." he muttered, trying to keep it quiet and hope the blonde didn't hear the small apology.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie had grabbed all her books and noticed her bag was fixed. "Oh, thanks Geor-" Maddie cut off and doubled over as if someone had punched her in the gut.

Riley looked over at the two Ravenclaws, confusion evident in his eyes. Toby won't be done for another couple of hours.

They rolled their eyes and looked back at the blonde. "You okay?" they stood up and held a hand out to her, having to bend down slightly.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie started coughing and breathing heavily. She winced and tried to stand up. Her normally grey green eyes were draining of green.

Riley flinched away, he'd never experienced this and didn't plan on staying in case something bad was happening. They became on edge.

"Are you... do you need help?" Riley tilted their head slightly to the side.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie coughed and bent over, and when she stood back up, words came echoing out of her mouth.

The students of Hogwarts must beware, something is coming and it gives not a care
Not for life or love or any human being, his evil is beyond anything you've seen
His reign of terror was ended by a boy, a child who was cursed and robbed of joy
His coming has started a chain reaction, and the wizards of the world will soon take action
The boy will face many hardships and troubles, the master of potions anger bubbles
A friend will be found through trouble and fight, another will be earned by bravery and might
The mirror that shows you your deepest desire, will be found and then moved and hidden behind fire
A name discovered will set their course, a secret learned will be much worse
Than the punishment for a task done at night, the boy will escape from peril through flight
The beginning of six trials he must complete, will be found under the monsters feet
Then tangled and snared he must remember, the power of even one glowing ember
Then up to the sky he'll chase down the key, its wings are different and its easy to see
The master of thinking will make his move, and his loyalty he will then prove
One trial will be skipped through the fault of another, and the girl shall choose one from the other
Through fire he'll walk and see the last task, a past acquaintance he'll then unmask
His cleverness will be the key, to the evil ones source of immortality
A fight will be fought and if evil he wins, then I see a future that spirals and spins
Into darkness and hate and anger and fear, that is the burden of being a seer
The boy must succeed and find his way, or the rest of the world will have to pay

Maddie's head slumped as if she'd passed out.

Riley stumbled backwards, fear on their face as he didn't know what to do. "Um." The dirty blonde stood and took a step back, not really knowing how to react.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie's breathing went back to normal and she slowly opened her eyes. She glanced around confused as to why George was holding her up. Her eyes had returned to their original green. She looked bewildered. "What happened?"

Riley was too confused to really know what just happened, and the brunette just spouted something random he didn't understand.

Toby just got out of what was keeping him busy, and he walked into the corridor to see Riley standing behind two Ravenclaws. "Um." he stood next to the Slytherin. "What?"

"I have no clue."

message 21: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie was still confused. "But....but...what happened?" She glanced at her bag, which was still on the floor. Then she looked at her bruised elbow. "Did...did I black out?"

message 22: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie picked up her bag and stuffed her books back in it. She noticed people were staring, but she didn't know why. Riley looked pretty freaked out and Toby just looked confused. What the heck had happened?

icarus! (abandoned account) | 174 comments

Toby nodded slowly, grabbing Riley's hand and pulling him away from the crowd and towards the library. "What just happened over there?"

"I actually just don't know." Riley said, allowing themself to be pulled away by the younger.

"Well, I'm finished with the thing and now we can do whatever else we gotta do today." Toby smiled, trying to keep his voice down as the two stood a little ways away.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie doing her bag over her back and nodded. She followed George down the corridor and thought back to what happened. What had happened? Why wouldn't they tell her? She frowned and looked down. Her charm bracelet was jingling again. Four little sliver charms caught the light. A mermaid, a raven, a unicorn, and a crescent moon. Maddie focused on the moon and then glanced back at George. Did she.....no, she would have remembered doing that. But....She didn't remember the other two...
Maddie gulped.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie slowed down a little so he could catch up. "Looking for someone?" She asked. He'd been looking around as if expecting to see someone...He'd been doing that earlier too actually.

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments ((Yes George, you really are))

Maddie caught the hesitation and figured he was lying. "Okay." She said simply. "Just wondering. Should we go to the courtyard or were you thinking maybe the grounds?"

message 35: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon | 1185 comments Maddie nodded. "Alright." She led the way through the maze like corridors and rushing students. She glanced around and laughed a little as a group of first years came running past. "I swear they're getting smaller every year."
