Adam, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but please try to limit yourself to a few that you would REALLY like to read (otherwise too many are on a list that will never be chosen). Also, please provide a link to the book if possible. Thank you!

We don't read a whole series in a monthly group read, please try to find standalone works, thanks!
These are two of the best, most memorable horror novels I've read in recent years:Experimental Film by Gemma Files
Dead Souls by J. Lincoln Fenn
I can't recommend these two books enough.

Please do not nominate an entire series.

V. Castro's Queen of the Cicadas? It's been taunting me from my bookshelf and I loved Goddess of Filth.
I nominate Kristi Demeester’s new novel, Such a Pretty Smile. It comes out on the 18th of this month. So, in three days!

I already nominated it so it's a +1 from you, thanks Gage.

It's already time to start thinking about which books you'd like to read as a group for February 2022. The theme for this month is Women Horror Authors! Let's try to get some new reads in here. Authors whose works we've read over and over (think Shirley Jackson) are not what we're looking for.
Books read or listened to as a group within the past 3-4 years are NOT eligible. You can find a list of those books here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Nomination rules can be found at this link: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
As always, authors may not nominate their own work. Books with more than one nomination ( +1 ) are more likely to make it onto the final poll, so feel free to second a book you'd like to read.
Happy nominating!!!
