I’ll try to explain more in detail about this book. (My memory might be off a little since I haven’t read book in like 10 or so years, so around 2002-2007). The plot involves an awkward girl (who is considered an outcast among her peers) who loves to spend her time reading books. She soon discovers that her local library (or inn where here parents work) is out of funds and shutting down. So in her efforts to stop this she sets up a fundraiser/dance. During this time she is crushing on a guy who she believes she has no chance of being with but they end up together in the end. I believe the cover of the book involves a girl holding a book.
