These made my cut so far:
Lock in

The Automatic Detective
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
A Philosophical Investigation
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
Gun, With Occasional Music
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
The idea is to jump out of the box that is the regular police work.

For February, I'm thinking about doing a Mythical Creature again.
We did that years ago and the choice was Eyes of Dragon, not much dragon in that one.

The Last Unicorn -- a classic; sadly, no audiobook.
Princess Floralinda and the Forty-Flight Tower -- a very twisted fairy tale!
Farmer Giles of Ham -- This awesome Tolkien novella appears in many collections (esp. Tales from the Perilous Realm: "Farmer Giles of Ham", "Leaf by Niggle", "Adventures of Tom Bombadil" and "Smith of Wootton Major") and has audiobook editions (both separately and for that same collection).
Enjoy!
For March, I'm thinking about world building.

For May, let's do a novelette month.
Hugo finalists are out https://www.thehugoawards.org/hugo-hi...
Let's do as many novelettes as we can in a month, then do a poll just for fun, see who got the winner right.

For June, I'm thinking about the theme of Commerce.
It's relevant, thinking our globalized world being torn apart right now. It can also go either scifi or fantasy.
