5/5 This is a powerful book. Once I started it yesterday, I could not put it down. My younger self would have felt the same. Through the entire book, I felt like I was on edge waiting for what would happen to these two young people: one in the North Tower and one in Afghanistan. This is one of the best YA novels I have ever read.

I enjoyed this one. It feels a little younger but very much in Gratz's style of dual narrators and fast-paced style. (My own 8th grader also liked this one.)
