Just outside Veinwind are the Lost Caves. What seems like a plain cave deep into the Pitch forest is actually an intricate, labyrinth-like series of tunnels stretching far underground, with dangerous obstacles at every turn. It's rumored that an ancient treasure is at the end, guarded by a fearsome beast, but nobody's ever made it far enough to find out. Anyone who's tried is now dead or was just smart enough to run the other way.
