If there was an apocolypse, and you could only bring stuff in a backpack, on you and in your pockets (hands and legs must be free so you can run and climb) what would you bring?

A change of clothes, a lighter, a water purifier, a metal water bottle, extra food, a flashlight and batteries, a map, a lighter, and some matches. That would be my main priorities at least if I could I'd fit a book or two.

Clothes, water (a crap ton), food(a crap ton again), then as many books as I can fit

WATTERRRR. KNIFE. COATED JACKET. FOOD CANS. WATERRR. A SPARE SNEAKERS. SLEEPING BAG. ROPE. A BOOK OR SO. A GUDE FOR SURVIVING.

This is a good hypothetical question.
Now, you also have to think-
How much can a backpack carry?
It’s logical to think about the apocalypse itself as well.
Do you really need certain items, or is it a want?
So, with that being said..


-Water canister
-Food cans, zip lock bags, etc
-Matches
-Some sort of small blanket
-Ammo [rifles are common guns, so shotgun ammo preferably.]


Now, if it WASN’T an absolute emergency,
i’d grab more than that and get more people with me to have more materials in our inventories.

Such as,

-Melee weaponries
-Inhaler [hey, people are gonna panic. what about the guys with asthma?]
-USB port
-Syringe
-Baseball bat with nails embedded in it [If we die, we go out Steve Harrington style.]

My list:
it'd be a school backpack
- First aid kit (especially gauze and disinfectant)
- Water bottle with clean water
- Life straw (if i have one)
- Gun/knife/weapon of some sort
- Blanket
- Food (small and long-lasting....lembas bread!)
- Matches/lighter
- Flashlight
- Extra socks and gloves
- rope
- Somewhat heavy book so i can hit people/zombies with it and read

ON me:
- times two of underclothings
- tank top
- shirt
- jacket
- hiking boots or good shoes
- hair ties

These are some really good lists honestly!!
