Ah, well it’s still so freakin’ cool! I’m waaay better at digital art, to be honest, so anyone who’s good at pencil and paper is totally awesome. XD

It does give me something interesting to do in class tho, my teachers are all unobservant

My preferred medium is graphite, but I have painted with tempera and acrylics before. I've also used colored pencils, crayons, and oil pastels. I tend to use either drawing pencils, mechanical pencils, or colored pencils, a kneadable eraser, and Q-tips for blending. I don't have blending stumps lol XD I've never used them.

Blending stumps are sticks of heaven! They are basically just rolls of paper that smooth out lines in shading to make it... Smoother (i cant explain things) tissues and Qtips do the same thing but blending stumps target places better and last longer too

I know what they are, I've just never used one. I personally love the way Q-tips make blending look, but that's just me. I guess it's just a part of my style now.

All I know is one of mine was supposed to be a tree and it turned into a skewered green blob… XD

If I can find one of the paintings I've done, I'll upload it. I'll have to find it first though. I think they're at my old house. My family and I moved houses just before COVID hit, so I still have a few things over there. I should have an acrylic painting of Pikachu that I painted on printer paper when I was about 12-14.

funny story, i cant draw hands to save my life. i did this in school today, took me a solid 30 or 45 minutes. the fingers looked like sausages before i shaded them... there are weird lines on it because it was drawn on canvas.
