Kandice you said you have a very detailed picture of Isserley in your mind and it's not Scarlett Johansson, lol! So how do you picture her? I just picture large breasts and thick glasses because that's all the author talks about. Lol!
There also seems to be something going on with her hands which in my mind, look like lobster claws, lol. I can’t imagine what experimentation or operations left her looking like because I don’t know what exactly has been done to her,…yet.

This is a little bit of a test here as far as my attempt to learn how to indicate a spoiler,…but (view spoiler)

For some reason, and I apologize to her, I saw Yeardley Smith as I read. Maybe because her voice is so distinctive. But Yeardley with anime boobs.

Oh! I could see that!
So far I am picturing Velma from Scooby Doo - I am about to go for a walk and listen to more so let’s see if that image stays the same.

Hahaha oh my gosh.....I had a picture in my head and just realized I was also thinking of Velma! 😄
Anyone else have trouble (view spoiler)
I felt like the descriptions were like that old proverb about how 5 blind men would describe an elephant if each only got to touch one part. As they were described in different places throughout the book, I kept having slightly different pictures in my head.

I mean, how would you get a dog's back legs to strand straight up, or it's front legs to work like arms? I'm getting too mired up in the details, I think.

Yeah . . . not perfect - and, it was more from the chest through the head than the extremities.
