I'd never heard of it before either. I'm trying to learn more about Southern California, which is why I chose the book.
On the LA Times Wikipedia page there are photographs of the old LA Times building before and after the bombing.
This book follows the lives and careers of Clarence Darrow (attorney), William Burns (detective) and DW Griffith (filmmaker). It tells about labor unions and the newspaper. And it is interesting to listen to, written in the narrative nonfiction style.
I'm listening to the audiobook version.
