The 1st book in a serie. It’s a “new adult” book as it bridges the gap between young adult and adult fiction. The author is very popular and everyone is talking about this series.

The Singing Trees by Boo Walker
I just started this book for the 52 book challenge. I had to choose a book set in the art world and this is the story about an aspiring young artist set in Maine in 1969. Annalisa lives with her Italian Grandmother and the woman already reminds me so much of my family!


House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas
Fresh from the bookstore. The sequel to House of Earth and Blood has already reached #1 best seller GLOBALLY! Sarah J Maas is definitely one of the most popular Fantasy writer out there! I am truly enjoying this book, to the point that - even if it's 800 pages long - I am scared to finish it! and I already want more!
