Absolutely - also doesn't shy away from the fact that this isn't necessarily a positive thing as well. Like in Baptism of Fire where Geralt shows his loyal/soft side in not leaving Dandelion behind, but also his unwillingness to be helped by others even if they've shown him he can trust them
