I think they are stupid. For some people, it's just a costume they wear for fun. But for others, they literally believe they are an animal, and that's where it's wrong.
Let's not forget that they sexualize humanoid animals from kid and teen cartoons and such...The horrors I've witnessed...
What is a furry though. Someone please explain that to me.

Pretty much
Ew. Do they not like sweat and die of heatstroke in those suits?
I’m pretty sure that the furry thing is a sexual thing so most of them don’t just go around in their costume.
I very much dislike furries. They are sexually attracted to animals (zoophilia) and that to me is very wrong.
Did you know that people not only dress as animals, but also identify as animals, the same way people identify as other genders? Heres one article about it.https://ng.opera.news/ng/en/pet-anima....
Furries aren’t necessarily attracted to animals. A good part of the time it isn’t a sexual thing. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vox....

The link works when click it so I don’t know why it doesn’t work for you. But here it is again https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vox....
The classic furry is a person who is in. An animal suit and has s*x in it. I was bullied for being a furry in middle school even though I wasn’t one. I don’t support furries. But I do empathize with the bullying they go through
I think another topic of this conversation is something called Otherkin, related to furries.
Otherkin is used to describe someone when they are identifying as an animals, saying that they are animals in a human's body, and want to express themselves in their animals ways, and pleasure themselves with their animal ways (meaning sexual thoughts or actions with animals)/

I'll be the first to suggest that this is wrong, stupid, and hard to keep up.

I'll be the first to heartily second your opinion considering this is super perverted and a bit creepy and I'm scared for these peoples' sanity...

If you say you identify an animal, not playing pretend but actually THINK you are an animal, you are surrendering your human rights.
If a man can become a woman, and can be treated as a woman and no longer with as a man...then with that same "logic" a man can become a kitty, and shall be treated like a kitty and no longer a man. No more human rights.
