sure! I'm reading it with Reddit (bookclub) right now, or going to start it very soon, I'll read it with you, when do you want to start?
Amazing! I've already started and I'm 87 pages in but I'd love it if we read it together! When are you starting? :)
I've read the first 7 chapters so far, and wow, is all I must say for now since I don't know where you're at in the book, but very good read for sure, the way it is written took a bit to get used to at first but it's fine now :)
I have this on my TBR, but can never seem to get to it. I look forward to seeing what you think of it.
I'll be honest, I'm halfway through part two and I'm thinking of giving up - it's just not doing it for me! It's a shame because I've wanted to read it for so long!
Hmm, that's too bad, I'll keep going on it, see what happens.... apparently it will be a series on Apple tv in March too

But don't give up too quickly--this book has a 4.3 average rating on GR and you haven't read long enough to even get to the reason why it's called Pachinko. I gave it 3 stars, which is a like for me (but I loved the first part!)
nice! good to hear :) yeah, so far I'm enjoying it so I'll keep reading. I'm only maybe 10 chapters in right now...
anyone else still reading? I'm part 3 and it's getting harder to finish, not as exciting as the first part but I want to find out what happens lol.

Yeah I've totally given up on it now. It's such a shame though because I'd heard such good things about it! I just think there're so many good books out there I wanted to move on and start new things!
yeah me too, giving up, I don't know what all the hype was about.....I may just cheat and read a spoiler review or something. I agree, so many other good books out there
Haha yes! That's a great idea. I'm not sure if you've read it but I started Malibu Rising yesterday and I'm loving it so far!
Malibu rising is a great book!! I really enjoyed that one.Hope you enjoy too! I am starting the new Louise Penny on a recommendation from a random lady at the library lol, she was super excited about it and highly recommended it. It's called the madness of crowds.
I'm going back to Pachinko! I've got the audiobook so I'm going to see if listening to it makes it more interesting
@Ed great!! I hear it's out on Apple plus now? will probs be a good series. how did you enjoy Malibu Rising?
I'm currently reading Pachinko, completed the first book and I hope the audio book version works out for you @Ed
