The Covers

The author has said that she uses the models that she has access to and crops their faces so that she can be more flexible. Since she can't get the same model(s) every time, it varies and I believe the first "look" was the one she decided to go with. The covers are at least relevant to the plot and go with the books which is a lot more than what most authors are giving readers these days.
All that being said, the covers are a huge irritation to me...which is why all of these books are on my kindle. Personal pet peeve is the House of Korba one where Silas (in my mind) is around 6'5" in the books and Sang is maybe 5'5" or so. The height discrepancy is missing on the cover.

Also, the covers make the series seem as if they're about smoky hot romances, when it really isn't. It's so much deeper than that, but the covers don't seem to portray that. Seriously, this is false advertising in my opinion.
