The Plague
- 3 1/2 stars
In French Algeria plague has come down on the city of Oran. A narrator is telling the story (though I figured out who it was pretty early).
It is not just a story of sickness, it explores the "what ifs" of life, love, death. Looks into the soul of human resistance and resilience.
I know this a 5/4 star for a lot of you-the classics are just not my forte and I struggled to finish this. Hence, my mediocre rating.
