message 15: by Lily (new)

Lily | 7 comments i haven't read it yet, but I'm about to start Loveless by Alice Oseman, which I know revolves around a main character figuring out she's on the ace spectrum. As someone who had a hard time coming to terms with being ace myself, I know I'm probably going to feel so seen reading this book.

message 16: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 3 comments the poppy war if you like some brutal fantasy. Very multidimensional main character. could be seen as the villain. lil bit of romance in there so

message 41: by diana (new)

diana (thebookhost) | 1 comments just read labyrinth heart by naiad last week, a first time releasing author it seems and only quiet recently released as well. it's a book of modern (!) poetry and prose, so for anyone who is into that, you definitely got the opportunity to catch a real gem early on. honestly criminally underrated, if you need any more convincing the handful of reviews here might do:
Labyrinth Heart

Random Spider (on a hiatus?) The Humans is superbly philosophical. I highly recommend it if you're reading not for the plot, but in search for thought-provoking moments.

Here's my non-spoiler review if you're interested:

message 43: by ami ౨ৎ (new)

ami ౨ৎ better than the movies !!

Random Spider (on a hiatus?) Six of Crows is an outstanding YA dark fantasy within the Grishaverse. If you haven't heard of this novel, it's never too late to read it.

Here's my review if you're interested:

Random Spider (on a hiatus?) Crooked Kingdom is the sequel on Six of Crows. Would definitely recommend.

message 46: by Nicholas (new)

Nicholas Cooke (njcooke) | 1 comments My Stones and Hemlock: Life Poetry and Expression Collection is rich in emotion and stories of romance, loss, and self-discovery!

I highly recommended as a light but deep Summer read: https://a.co/d/0HAdufu

Random Spider (on a hiatus?) The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
The Midnight Library was fine, not the worst but not the best.

Here's my non-spoiler review if you're interested:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Random Spider (on a hiatus?) Babel An Arcane History by R.F. Kuang
Babel: An Arcane History by R.F. Kuang. I do recommend it if you're into dark academia.

Here's my non-spoiler review:

Random Spider (on a hiatus?) Chloe and the Kaishao Boys by Mae Coyiuto
Chloe and the Kaishao Boys by Mae Coyiuto is one of the better YA RomCom I've read so far.

Here's a non-spoiler review:
