A Song Flung Up To Heaven

Sarah Rigg | 140 comments I'm pretty sure I only read the first three. The first one sticks with me the most. I read it as a preteen or really young teen, and the theme of child abuse was a big part of what stuck with me. Also, I was a rather sheltered child who lived in a nearly all-white community and so I had no idea what Powhitetrash (run together as all one word in the text, as I recall) meant!

aPriL does feral sometimes (cheshirescratch) I read the first one, but I intend to read them all.
