The proud capital of America, here the president lives and works, of course it has it shady underbelly, underhanded deals and bribery are quite common and of course plots to kill the president are quite fun to do

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ Luke Byrd, the self proclaimed Druid was walking down the suburbs of Washington DC, and he was not pleased. He absolutely hated city's, and he hated the government, so not his favorite hang out spot. He wore a brown, worn out rain coat, and hiking boots, like he had just immerge from the woods. People have him sideways glances, but he didn't care. He was a much better person and fighter then any of them.

Amy Of Tarth Liberty skulked round the corner in a pretty bad mood. Cities were bad. It meant she had to cover her wings, and the only way to do that without looking weird was to strap them to her back. And that wasn't comfortable. Her long black coat flapped in the wing, making it less noticeable that her back was a little bulkier than it should have been.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ Druid continued along, using his wooden bowstaff as a walking stick. He probably looked homeless, which would be partially correct. He was a nomad, so everywhere was his home. He was passing by a pack bench when he saw a girl sitting in a corner, fiddling around with her back every so often. Call it a primal instinct, but something put him off by the scene.

message 5: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth Liberty looked up, sending eyes on her. There was a man looking at her, but something was... Off. Defiantly off. Maybe it was the clothes, but maybe it was the way he stopped to look at her. At her. That was weird. And her fighting instinct told her it wasn't good.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He smirked and kept walking, taking note of the girl. He went to cross the road, when a car sped by and almost hit him. It was a street racing car with a big spoiler. "Hey! Watch where your driving that abomination!" He yelled at the car. It abruptly stopped and the driver got out. Pedestrians started slowly trickling away, and one of them called 911. He was the stereotypical a burly, Michael Jackson inspired jacket wearing punk. "What did you say about my car?" He asked, infuriated.

message 7: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth Liberty guessed he was a hero. He certainly didnt look like an idiot, and you'd have to be to fight that man if you weren't one. That and there was something about him. Something that made her think that he wasn't entirely human.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "I said it is a polluting abomination." He said. "It is not only ruining our world, but the people living here. Now are you going to get back in, or do you think your some kind of tough guy?" He said with a cocky voice. "That's it, you're going down!" He yelled as he charged at Druid. He simply side stepped him and swung his bow staff at his back, knocking him on the asphalt.

message 9: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth Druid. Was libertys next thought. Well, more of a sneer. She didnt like Druids and certainly didnt respect them, but some of the moves they did were impressive, like when they just stepped out of the way like that. She, however , preferred the more violent approach.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ The punk got up and pulled out a 9mm pistol, and shot it at Druid. In response, he willed the plants off the side of the road to form a wall in front of him and catch the bullet. The wall then wrapped around him, binding his hands to the ground. "What's wrong? Is that the best you've got?" Druid taunted.

message 11: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth Great. She thought. There is a rough Druid across the street from me, using his powers for the whole world to see. She had no patience four Druids, or their nature loving ways. It made her just want to punch them.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ Just then, two police cars pulled up on either side and two officers came out with guns drawn. Then they saw what had happened and arrested the guy with the car. It turns out that police had been pursuing him earlier this morning from a hit and run. "Well thank you, whoever you are." One of the officers said to him. Druid just walked away, wanting nothing to do with the government or law enforcers.

message 13: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth Liberty was disgruntled; so she was right. He was a do-gooder as well as a Druid. A Hero . The word sounded like a sneer in her head. But she still followed him. She didnt know if she wanted a fight or what, but the police were here now, and she didnt like them. At all. There were various members of their service who knew who she was, and she didnt like them.

(Are heroes and villains known about by the general public? Would they have seen powers like his before?)

((Super Humans are rare but known, his powers are different from others though I assume they would know))

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ ((The existence of super humans and abilities are publicly known, but the known identities depend on the character. The pedestrians would be amazed, but not think he was an alien or anything.))

One of the witnesses walked up to him, offering praise. "What you did was amazing!" Druid turned to him and looked him in the eye through his black and green mask. "I want no part in this city, or even society. Just shut up and continue living your life of consumption. You're in my way." He said angrily. The person who thanked him gave him a strange look before walking off. "Time to get out of here before those pesky news people show up." Druid thought to himself.

message 16: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth (Ok thanks. )
Liberty followed him inconspicuously. He was obviously in a bad mood from the way he'd spoken to that man, but she couldn't blame him. This was why she was a villain, she didnt have to put up with pests like that.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ Druid kept walking, aware that she was following him. He decided to talk to her privately, so his business on Washington would have to wait. He led her through the streets until he left the city and entered a nearby field. He then turned around and addressed her. "I know I'm hot stuff, but I didn't know I was smooth enough to be followed throughout an entire city."

message 18: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth Liberty stiffened. Usually her shadowing skills were undetectable, but here was a Druid who had caught her in the act. She decided to play along.
"Maybe you should look in a mirror. And take that ghastly coat of, that might improve your look. " her British accent was clipped, despite the fact that she was related to none of the countries of the world.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "Well my look's are obviously good enough to be stalked by using magic. Too bad i felt your movements in the grass. Now are you going to keep following me in awe or are you going to cut the chase already?" He seemed to be more in a snarky mood that he was out of the city.

message 20: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "I think I might follow you got just a little longer. " she replied cooly, adjusting her cloak. The clasp had broken earlier and now it kept falling off her shoulders. Her wings ached and pulled against the straps, wanting to stretch.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ His eyes narrowed on her wings. "Ah, so you're one of us. Very nice. I thought there was something "Heavenly" about you. Anyways, you can follow if you want, but there's nothing but low lying branches and leafy canopies ahead. Flying might not be the best choice if you catch my drift." He said as he turned around and continued walking. This made things a lot more complicated.

message 22: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "I am not 'heavenly'. " she snapped at him before she could stop herself. If he saw her he wouldn't call her that. He would call her a demon. She shuddered. " and I'm fine with walking. " she started after him, still keeping her distance.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "Suit yourself." He said apathetically. He began thinking on how he could trip this girl into giving away information. "So ore there other people with things growing out of their back where you come from?" he asked, trying to get a sense of location.

message 24: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "I assume so. " she retorted. " are there other people with out of date brown costs where you come from?" She refused to get angry with him. Yet. That could wait. And then she could surprise him.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "No, but I stopped carrying about society a long time ago." He said back to her. This wasn't going to work if she kept redirecting the questions. "Do you like art?" He tried.

message 26: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "Do you like art?" She fired back at him. She'd never had much time for art, and she hated Leonardo di'vinchi. He painted too many angels, and they were all so good and beautiful and white. God, they were white. Their wings. Their wings...

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ Ok, now she was getting irritating. "Seriously, what do you want from me he said looking her square in the face.

message 28: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "I'm not really sure just yet. " she mused aloud. " but I'm sure ill find out soon enough. Where are you going?" She changed the question again and her wings twitched under her cloak.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "Nowhere and Everywhere. All at once." He said twirling his bow staff around as he walked. "I guess you could say I go wherever the wind takes me."

message 30: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "Do all your people have such a twisted tongue. Can you not speak normally for once?" She walked towards him gracefully, figuring that if the worse came to the worst she wouldn't be needing that cloak.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "You and I are far from normal. I think the way you talk is the least of your problems princess." He said as he continued walking. He usually sounded cocky and confident to mask his loneliness.

message 32: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "I'm not a princess!" She snapped angrily. Princess indicated that she was royal and important and rich and loved; all the things she wasn't. Not that she wanted to be those things. Not that she wanted to be good. But still.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "Wow, feisty too." He said baiting her. "I hope you don't blow up like that on other guys, geez."

message 34: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth She took the bait, reaching for her bow and levelling an arrow at his chest. "What. Did. You. Just. Say. " her wings broke the straps as she said this, spreading out behind her, throwing the cloak into a nearby bush.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He turned around and faced her. "Well isn't that lovely. Let me guess, going for a gender swapped Cupid?" He willed some grass to rise up into his hand. If she shot, he would have to be fast.

message 36: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "I. AM. NOT. CUPID." She shrieked at him, rising into the air. She would show him wrath. He would soon learn that not all angels were the patrons of love. She shot an arrow at his head, watching as it burst into flames.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He quickly lifted his fist up I to the air, and it was followed by a pillar of plant life. The plant wall caught the arrow, and choked the flame out. "Well, you don't see that everyday." He commented.

message 38: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "She what?!" She exclaimed outraged, flying down towards him, ready for battle. Her physical skills were impeccable and it would be very unlikely that he could beat her this way. Then again there were those dratted plants.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He willed an entire tree to swing towards her and knock her out of the sky. He readied another attack just incase she was able to dodge that one.

message 40: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth She dodged it, but not in the way he expected. She let herself fall, and caught onto a branch just before hitting the floor, rotating her body and kicking him in the face.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He flew back and crashed into a tree. "Not bad, for a cherub." He said weakly as he wiped a trickle of blood off his mouth. He willed some plants to wrap themselves around him, making a sort of plant armor. He twirled his bow staff around defensively.

message 42: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "I. AM. NOT. A. CHERUB. " she dived again, aiming for a collision and not a fight. Then again it would probably be easiest to grab him and drop him from the atmosphere.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He quickly dived under her as she charged, and whipped her into a tree with his bow staff. "She certainly is a hothead." He thought to himself. "Maybe I can use that."

message 44: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth One minute she was there. The next she wasn't. Being a tree felt ...strange ... It calmed her, and made her feel at peace with herself. Still.. She didnt like it.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He couldn't hold the spell much longer, so she turned back into a girl. Druid searched desperately for a way to defeat her in his mind.

message 46: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth She slapped him. " I don't know about you, but I do not enjoy being a tree, thank you very much. " she fired.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ "Why not. It's obvious your "Bark" is worse than your bite." He responded while whacking her with his bow staff.

message 48: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth "You've seen nothing of me..." She said quietly, her voice deadly. And at the last moment she grabbed his staff just before it hit her.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ He willed the grass under her to rise up and tie her legs to the ground. "Oh I've seen something, and I wasn't impressed."

message 50: by Amy (new)

Amy Of Tarth She struggled against the grass, using her wings, but not to the full of their ability. She knew that she was strong enough to rip the tiny little tendrils from the ground, but not yet. Not yet...
